  • Good Morning everyone it's a beautiful sunny day here with a nice breeze so washing is almost finished to go out on the line. I've been through the house and the oven is full with jacket potatoes for later next week, rhubarb in orange juice for breakrfasts with yoghurt and a wartime rhubarb crumble too. I have leek and potato soup on the hob and will be making 'mock roast' which is a lovely oniony meat loaf for supper. We've to wait in today for a delivery so He Who Knows has headed allotmentwards and I'll pop to the village shop when he comes back. Docky is in fine form at the moment and looking to do very long walks when he's out, he knows where he wants to go and 'nedges' your knee to turn you that way. Must be the bit of him that is border collie coming out.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HILSTEP and your little DGD, have a lovely one, Lyn xxx.
  • Morning ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one, nad congrats to the birthday girls.

Patient is up, had his breakfast in bed, I sorted the pots and then went up to see him in the shower etc. He is downstairs now. Will be going back for a siesta after lunch. We were both in bed reading by 9.30pm last night, no point in having two sets of lights on.

It seems Friday is my very little sleep night, I watched the clock round to 3,30am ths morning, good job I had said I was not getting up early.

Pork with rive for supper have the pork on now, will do the rice later.
