Talking of Savvy....and autism in general....and autistic people taking things literally....

DS2 borrowed my I pad today. I have the finger print recognition lock on and he let it time out. Instead of bringing it downstairs, or even just asking for the passcode. He walked all the way downstairs without it. Came into the lounge and said 'I need to borrow your thumb'
I know I shouldn't be sarky to him but it's just begging sometimes :rotfl::rotfl: and mouth acts before my brain.
I said ' ok go to the kitchen and get me a knife and I'll cut it off for you'
He started to walk out the room. Then stopped. Turned round and said 'wait....that would be a waste really. It will deteriorate really quickly and your thumb print probably wouldn't be recognisable the next time I need it. Besides I don't really want a persons thumb in my room......best if you just bring your thumb upstairs' :cool:

Said in all seriousness and not not a flicker of concern at the possibility of having a one thumbed mother :rotfl::rotfl:

My auto correct has gone mad :eek: it's trying to make converts say converts. I'm blaming DS2. it's not usually this bad. I typed 'Rolo dessert' into As.com earlier and it changed it to rickies des res :eek:
