Sneaky price increase on the SP Wrapping Foil perhaps. The M equivalent has been 75p for a while, but, before then, both used to be 72p. So 10% off 72p rather than 10% off 75p now:( (and, only then, when bought in the right way:mad:). So, after a short while, A increases the price to match - I thought it was supposed to be 10% cheaper:mad: (no I didn't:rotfl:).

The M version of the SP Gammon Rounds not picked up:(. Maybe the "2x 125g and 2 per pack - 250g" issue. Computers you see (possibly). They are literal and logical and they see "125g" and "250g" and they are not equal, therefore are non-comparable. It's all straight, logical conclusion - but an incorrect conclusion on this occasion. They don't see that it says "2x" 125g and that that equals 250g. Just see 2x and 2 per pack and, well, that's the same but 125g and 250g are different so it's a non-compare. They don't see, like humans do, that obviously it's the same!

Actually M is 2x 127g but I've simplified. It should have still been within weight range and then adjusted. Of course my thought as to why it's not compared them could be completely incorrect. Maybe Gammon "Rounds" are seen as different to Gammon "Grills", or maybe they've just missed it, or maybe something else. Perhaps the Ms they visited didn't have any price displayed - I know one of mine doesn't:mad::rotfl: - but I do find the price on display at all my other stores so, if they have that, the product ought to have compared. Perhaps the 2x127 and the 250 issue after all - they aren't in the same format - a matter that seemed to have caught out my Spotted Dicks a while back.

You do wonder with the price of British chicken being so low how it can be any cheaper to buy it in Thailand and ship it here when you factor in shipping costs. I checked instore and this whole range of chilled chicken is from Thailand. It is not as if they can pad it out with other ingredients like they can with ready meals etc? (This may be a welcome addition to T BNI Tikka as it would be a nice change to have some chicken in it ).

I have bought some as it is a good price and having been fortunate to go to Thailand I cannot be too judgemental as I ate while I was there and have lived to tell the tale .

I wonder what would happen if we all rang or emailed Sada HQ this week and asked about the origin of their chickens - if they really came from Thailand - and also put a photo of the label on our twitter pages :rotfl:
