Morning all....weather not too great here either but hopefully to clear up.
Just been thinking this morning that with all the news of people being trouted and getting vouchers checked, I'm wondering if we should hold off on printing until we know that only the new system is in place. I have 1 which gives £4.90 on old and £4.98 on new. I'd be most concerned if I printed the new and they checked it against the old......how would you explain that one? They have trouble enough understanding the APG system without trying to explain that one on top!!
    What does everyone else think?

Nice and sunny at the moment but it's the calm before the storm so to speak :( I'm stuck indoors for an Amazon delivery today so im hoping it shows up early!

BTW I forgot to say- my chickens are all laying eggs now, two days in a row we've had an egg each from them :T :j

    Good morning all!
Sunny here, but never know how it feels outside :)
Yesterday I was passing through Wilko, seen and ad on a window Regina 9 rolls for £2, which is a good price i think.

They were working at a coaching in were 2 of them had the job of taking tack off horses, resting and feeding them then getting horses ready to go off again.
As they were not getting it right 2 stable lads had to perch on stools and have full bridle wear put on and off them.
That was the point you went flashing through my mind:rotfl::rotfl:

:eek::eek: do you need therapy :D

Morning all - weather is still nasty here, wind and rain - cross off from the To Do list - strip bed, get duvet out on the line

Cats - one is on his chair in the porch, one still on her bed on the sofa and the 3rd is still wrapped around the duvet which is not being changed or aired today - so it looks like the weather is set like thus today.

This weeks To Do list is vast mainly because of the bank holiday and being out all yesterday - still shattered this morning.

Regarding carbs - on the myfitness app it calculates your percentage of carbs (protein and fat as well ) as you go along as you add your various meals through the day. In the morning when I have my porridge the carbs are huge but then it roughly gets back into order in the right percentages - day time is easy as I just eat porridge, yogurt and fruit and home made fruit smoothies.

the main meal in the evening though is the difficult one as OH insists on doubling up on the carbs - for instance I am hoping to do Spanish chicken tonight and I would have rice with it - OH will want to do roast potatoes as well as rice so I have to insist that he doesn't.

Rice at least is better than garlic flatbreads which I love - I really ought to cut into quarters before freezing then at least it would not be quite as bad.

If OH does mince and onions or I do him beef stew and mash potatoes (and potatoes in the stew) he will get a crusty loaf - I am powerless to resist crusty bread with butter on

So possibly carbs are my problem, apart from resisting them maybe I also retaining water

Yesterday I was off the normal routine as we were out - I had tea, banana and sausage butty for breakfast, lunch was hot chocolate, chips and cheese from the chip shop :) and dinner was chicken stir fry ready meal, rice and an apple (too knackered to cook properly)
It was only lunch time that I was really off plan but this morning the scales show an extra 2 pounds

Oh well, as Miranda would say, on with the show ...
“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”
