Rocky is there seriously a handwash glitch? :rotfl:

I'd love to pick some up for my sister. Spending money like its going out of fashion on her new place (!) so would be nice to get her a mini stash if I could. That said, I didn't have time to take advantage of the last glitch I was around for so don't worry too much Anon ;)

    New system apg
Keeps saying I don't have 8 diff items so wont compare, I have 10 ?? (definitely) any advice ?? wait till tomorrow ?
or call the new system ever swear word I have ever learned ?

Hello, I have been here, for those posting their M comps "for my info.":D - v.much taking well-deserved time off over the Bank Holiday - I too don't like the "new" system - every time I see "Smile!", I immediately frown:rotfl:. That said, I had an offer of about 52p:( vs Morries on the old, that got upped to (a little better) £1.08 vs Sains:rotfl: on the new - yes, I had access to both systems again.

I'm not sure about tomorrow, for the Morries check, as I have family that could do with me being around rather than being at M - probably useless anyway as I think I saw the Italian Spag. Bologn. comparing against full price for M - after all that - so if there's any glitches (and I hear there were some today) you've just have to go for the 10p Haribos vs M, if the glitch items work out 'best' vs M - but then you probably save a lot more money anyway than buying substantive stuff and getting adverse comparisons vs M:rotfl:. For the sake of a day, I might go back to the Ms on Wednesday, will see how it goes tomorrow morning. I probably will end up going:rotfl:.

I might get round to posting the two comps. on the 50p/£1.08 shop if I can be bothered. I got the new site on Chrome, which is easy to post, but the old site was only on the other browsers which meant a pasted comp. will need sorting out!!

I noticed the Fairy WUL is a glitch (seems to be in twos) vs Morries - but, really - is it worth the effort I wonder? - only contributes about £1.25-odd back from the original £2 on them.

    That's it, I'm going again now. Can't be bothered:rotfl:.

Rockyrose, you have a PM. ;)

Mrs B you are a gem. The elite teamwork, brilliant. Thank you for the help.
Re the apg that wasn't on the new (but Mrs B has now helped me:T)
I bought 2 for the 2 for £2 biscuits using the trig (McVitie Gold) and buying Penguin 8 pack original and it doesn't show on the apg comp either.
    Penguin 8 pack b/c ends 187280
    Mcvities gold(thanks OP) b/c ends 187167
Both trigs for the 2 for £2 ?

This is like the stock market.... the greedier you get the more likely you will get burnt. From an outsiders perspective, 5 separate shops is taking the mick and will get noticed, especially if you are in their every day.

In the stock market it is getting a good stock earning 20%+ profit on it and then holding out for further rises, eventually it starts falling and you don't want to sell out as it was 'higher' until you are actually in loss making territory.

Same with SFSB his pictures show he has been hammering, just one store for glitches probably meaning 20-50% of the APG were his. So it was only a matter of time.

I sometimes tend to think over 90% of the APGs in my main store are from me - and I don't use 'that many'. That is based on my only once ever having seen another customer at the till using one - everyone else seems to pay with cash or debit card:eek: - there can't be many APGs being used.

I did have an SA once telling me they couldn't understand why everyone didn't use the APG - they had no idea why, since they might give something back and yet people, they said, take their receipts and never bother to check them. Everyone should do it, they said! Perhaps implying "...but no-one ever does" (which wouldn't surprise me, it would not surprise me to find that no other customer at my store ever checked their receipts).

People don't check - doubtless, to my mind, due to people thinking it is a waste of time bothering to do so, quite likely after checking once or twice but never ever getting much worthwhile back from it and therefore assuming there's little or no point of doing so, due to them buying A's cheaper items and trying to make their shop cheaper when shopping instore - picking up 94p yogurts, r'back items, 98p items, and "cheap" coffee at £2.97:eek: when it's £5.48 elsewhere (as opposed to its offer price of £2.49 and then 10% off - thus £2.97 is not cheap at all!) generally does not help! - people generally shop in the wrong way!
