As I said, he not a bad lad but I'm keeping an open mind as to whether he actually wants to work or not?
Where I work is the most laid back, do as much as you can or want and get paid for it place possible! I really thought I was offering him a good opportunity

It is sad the system works that way.
This is the opposite but have always felt sorry for their position.
My mum's friend well into her 80s limited income only basic pension, has a son with learning difficulties but not enough to be classed as disabled I think as they do not get benefits for him. He gets jobs doing leaflet distribution and paper rounds and is nearly 60. Takes him hours as he walks oddly.
Because he has always lived with his mum she does not get full council tax benefit and I guess must miss out on other help too. They have always really struggled.
