Had one for my tea. At least now the freezer jenga is easing.“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -

Oh a new thread! Thank goodness! And thanks again, is it dm for a twentieth time in a row?!?:rotfl: Thankfully we are on to something else, but just wanted to say - I think my reply didn't post to the last thread - I wasn't offended at all, you know me, I was just standing back and using it to say how some things might be considered to be more severe than some of the things they see fit to censor. As regards not being able to "understand" the censorship, fortunately I can resolve your search for understanding for you: I'd already decided, a long time ago, that there was nothing in existence to understand, but that it was just done at a whim and without any rational basis to it. Therefore, in seeking to understand it, we'd be trying to find a rational basis where none exists. So, there we are, I'm glad I've found a resolution to the matter: for my own sake at least - otherwise I'd be thinking about it constantly and racking my brain about it and then still doing so even now and then continuing trying to find an answer to it when none exists. At last! The answer found: there is none!:T
It's brilliant, as it allows us to move on...:T:T:T
Before I do, (:( on your part) I also noticed that the "SAVVY" in the post was all in the capital letters and therefore just commenting that it could be seen as shouting. However, I do not take it as such - I don't think it was consciously put all in capitals although I'm just making another point that's interesting (or not) about how some things might be taken. (So ignore me!)0 -
Well done for the shiny new thread, DM!

Thanks for the new thread.
Hope it will be more interesting that the general election.
I'm loving the election! Because I am a bit of a nerd I enjoy facts and figures (what a surprise i enjoy it here too) so it has been a real pleasure to follow the debates and yell corrections at the tv. Have learnt loads. I also follow a lot of MPs on Twitter and have a favourite candidate for the next London mayor. I don't think he'll win but he talks very sensibly about need for more social and (genuinely) affordable housing in London and how we might best achieve that.
The debate last night was probably my favourite yet. Hilarious and fascinating in turn. I know all politicians bend statistics but it's the made up figures I have a problem with :rotfl:Debt free 6th December 2014
