No change in item - it's already on the list - but price of the Simmer Sauce Bread Sauce has gone from 28p in A to 38p & 3 for £1! Yet again an mbuy that is worse value!:eek: To be fair I think 28p may have been a rare low in A. Nonetheless, the item has been constant 29p in M, so as 33.33...p each is more regular A price (and requiring people to buy three times:eek:!) then it would seem A is charging more to the vast majority of its customers that buy this item than M. They are not even price-matched now yet alone still not 10% cheaper and a minority of receipts ever get checked on the PG.

Hollandaise sauce was 'always' 38p & 3 for £1, but still not 10% cheaper on any occasion throughout this pricing than compared to the equivalent in M - again, 29p throughout!

I'm now on the home strait, as I've got everything onto this website - just need to sort it out and move it now! No more messing with msm:mad::rotfl:. I've crossed out the Silver Spoon Sugar - on £1.20 for 2Kg and 2 for £1.20 for 2x 1Kg - as everyday low prices, they are way too high! Whitworth's Granulated Sugar (2Kg) is £1.15 in A, so, immediately, it's cheaper than M's eday low price which is, as now seems to be usual with EDLPs, 'pegged' at too high a level and, I've discovered, the Whitworth's product in A, in turn, is vs T at £1.15 (so 10% off). Hope that works on new site too - on new site, it had vs M at £1.19 but M is N/A on old. Turns out that it should now be vs T:doh:.


EDIT: Actually the eday "low" price on the 1Kg Silver Spoon is 69p - you only get the £1.20 price (60p each) by buying the mbuy, so, immediately, the mbuy offer 'beats' the 'low' price on the 1Kg and is merely the same price as the eday low price on the 2Kg which, er, isn't that low... instead, it's a bit too high, being higher than the price on the Whitworth's 2Kg in A and T.

I am, maybe, confusing "lowest" and "low". But, if it isn't the absolute lowest to me, then it isn't that "low"! And some of these "low prices" do seem to be about the highest prices the products go to... being on offer at lower offer prices at other times (then back up to the 'eday low(!?!) price'). However... :doh:they are relying on the vast vast majority of people who don't know the prices on much at all and who are perhaps likely to assume that the "low prices" must mean they are good offers on low prices when, in fact, it seems to me, the contrary is true!
