Another one for THURSDAY morning early..

    14dj493.jpg

If this offer is A increasing the price of the normal 500ml tubs then :(:(:(

    29vnlz9.jpg

However, if it is A putting the Core variety into a multi, then :D:D:D

    rvd43q.jpg

Pay £6 for two with a potential apg return of £5.48, making each tub cost 26 pence.

This will only work if it is the CORE variety that is going into the offer.

I wouldn't be surprised. An mbuy does represent a more expensive price than before and means that the individual price is increasing:D:D, which may be great news for comparisons back!:j:beer: (I would have said "is", but now "may be" as hoping this works on the new site.)

As regards the other one (the Magnums), the 'exception that proves the rule' perhaps, I notice they are going to 2 for £5, which does seem 'better' than £3.89, however there what it means is that the individual price is not going down. So, it still represents just as bad a deal as before:p:p (when missing the mbuy!).

Complete cynicism, as above, is the way to approach this. Everything in a supermarket or that a supermarket does is cynical.

And, anyway, as seen, these go down somewhat lower than 2 for £5 (£2.50 each) elsewhere, making the 2 for £5 mbuy still not a good deal (as well as requiring you to over-pay on double the number you'd purchase than if it were straight 1 at £2. Of course, though, I wouldn't buy any at all even if it were £2 as that's way in excess of what it 'should' be for me...).

(I'm ignoring APG comparison here: just talking (a lot:o:o:rotfl:) about mbuy pricing not being good - especially if you weren't doing a target shop.)

I think they've renamed the newer "Kids Robinsons" on msm so that they no longer have the word "Dilute" in their descriptions - I've just been trying to work out what is which - but, anyway, doesn't matter as even if there was an invisible trigger it wouldn't work out as 'good' as vs straight 74p price. Ideally, we wouldn't want straight 10% off 74p price as that's still too much:rotfl: but, :(I've caved in anyway and am going to put them onto the M list vs that "expensive":D 74p price.:rotfl::rotfl:

Just a reminder that "Savers" Apple & Blackcurrant Squash - same 1L quantity - is 30p. (Which is why Robinsons at 74p-10% is no good:rotfl:.) No good? Oh, alright...

[Strike]Fwiw, I've found all the Robinsons I have from M, didn't find any missing on msm.[/Strike] I tell a lie - just found more on msm than I appeared to have and then found I had all of those written elsewhere anyway! But I can't now find Mango & Passion Fruit dilute in A on msm. Doesn't matter anyway, as trigger route wouldn't be any good. I have "Pineapple, Mango & Passion Fruit" on msm, but not "Mango & Passion Fruit". They are different ones.

I have just come back from taking my mum and one of her cats to the vet.

Only my mum came home :(

So sorry to hear this QOC, it is the saddest part of pet ownership :(
