Might be worth mentioning that I use Adblock Plus, this stops a lot of adverts including some which may report cookies back to the apg website - also the apg has a FB 'share' button so could flag your FB account as on the new apg.

Browsing incognito has none of your FB info though - and using adBlock should stop flash adverts reporting your flash ID (if that's what they use to serve the new site).

Hope you don't mind sparklyfee, I've used your TC# but have not tried to 'get a voucher' etc.

To summarise...

I think I have the new site as although my IP is not set to it yet, the IPs I've proxied through have so a cookie is set to request new apg, incognito doesn't have the cookie so old site and proper IP not yet on the new list.

Does that make sense :rotfl:

edit to add: the new apg doesn't appear to have a FB widget on it.

No I don't mind. I also have absolutely no idea what this all means!!! :rotfl:

ilovetoshop, I always have a chuckle when I read that list. It reminds me of when we were in Jamaica, we did Dunns Falls, and one of the people in the party said that they didn't realise that a waterfall would actually have water in it, and that we would have to climb through, horror of horrors, water coming down :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Now this has been resolved I will say for anyone else reading that there are many reasons why the insurance company could legitimately have refused this. One of the exclusions is when a person is drunk, she openly admitted to being drunk in one of the previous write ups. It is very harsh as many like to get drunk whilst abroad, but it is worth bearing in mind that insurance companies do have exclusions like that to avoid you endangering yourself, normally includes things like paragliding, getting drunk and generally being silly and taking very unnecessary risks. That is also why there are extra parts to insurance policies for high--risk sports etc.

Altojack, hope you are feeling better today. Have to say in contrast that my OH had wonderful treatment when he had his ankle sorted, but that was in Oxford.
