Here are the differences between the same comparison posted by savvy sal (from old APG) and bubbs (from new APG)

The prices below go in this order:

Price in A, then comparison on old system, followed by comparison on new system

    ASDA Blueberries (125g) £2.00 £2.00 N/A
ASDA Butcher's Selection Boneless Chicken Thigh Fi... £7.16 £6.86 N/A
ASDA Chosen by You Sliced Tiger Chest Bread (800g) £1.00 N/A £0.65
    ASDA Red Pepper £1.34 £1.18 N/A
    ASDA Whole Cucumber £0.49 £0.49 N/A
Carex Aloe Vera & Eucalyptus Moisturising Antibact... £0.87 £0.75 N/A
    Coca Cola (15x330ml) £4.43 £4.69 N/A

also, this was missing on the old APG but showed on the new APG:
    Heinz A Magnificent Mayonnaise (595G) £2.89 N/A

ETA: The magnificent heinz mayo that doesn't appear on the old APG isn't on MSM. It is on A.com though and appears on the new system  Does the new system pick up everything you buy or just everything that is on A.com

ETA2: another interesting point, these were both comparisons v Morries....so are they using a different agency to collect instore now? I didn't expect any difference to M comparisons

  • Just to let you know a very well paced Tasha finished in 5 hours and 53 minutes:j:j

I imagine she will be having a duvet day tomorrow.

I've sneaked in from Betty land to find out how Tasha did. That's absolutely fantastic, as is the amount she had raised for such a worthy cause.

    Well done Tasha!!!!!
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)

Can't believe the weekend went so quickly

Took kids to see OH today. The place is in lovely surroundings. Nice gardens. Very tranquil. I pretty much left them to it. They've not had any time alone with him for a while. The staff were very accommodating.
DS2 has his feet under the table already and had lots of people giving him juice and cakes all day :o He also gave another resident a 'walk through' on his DS game and filled him in on some cheats :rotfl:

OH has started running again, which is quite a shock. He stopped a few years back because of not wanting to go out. His fitness didn't slip but he stopped running. He's met another bloke in there who runs long distance and has been going out with him. I think that's good.

Managed to burn some of dinner tonight trying to multi-task :o:rotfl: I tried to cook and do the uniforms at the same time and realised I'm not that clever :( I burst into tears :o.......must've needed it :rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry that your perfume shops didnt work....I think I sort of mentioned the possibility of the ck1 not working yesterday morning as I had noticed it oos at S ....

true it only takes someone a few seconds to post about a failed shop, but there can also be many reasons for a failed shop and it doesnt always boil down to a glitch that has stopped working, sometimes its just the fact that the wrong item was purchased.

Any glitch shop has an element of risk attached to it and its my belief that you should take note what written here but also try and check for yourself too...

Big gains can and have been made over glitches and its down to the individual to take the risk each time they shop IMO
some you win and some you lose...on the whole I guess we all do well out of glitching to our own needs else we wouldn't still be here.....

Yes, I agree but as I said I checked on here and MSM before and during my shopping. Usually if an item is OOS* on MSM it is ok to compare but if it is OOS** it is a bit dubious. I believe that I did buy the correct item, description, size & price all matched. So I did "check for myself".
I think I have explained already that I am willing to take the risks but if it doesn't work I try to report on here as soon as possible to warn others of the potential risk.
All part of the game but surely the idea is to help each other?

Sada say the new system uses "independant agencies" (whatever that means) and not mysupermarket. These agencies do an electronic sweep of web grocery sites for t's, s and waities prices and compare it to sada.com to get the prices for your items on the new apg.

Thanks, but I know all that :rotfl:

Morries is done by instore collection and the two systems are giving different results so it suggests they've changed that collection agency too

Also the new system is picking up more of the items purchased in A than the old one did
