There are many, many people who use the Elite thread as a way of saving cash. I believe that for a lot of people, this thread is a lifeline without which they would really struggle.

Some of the people who use this thread are 100% lurkers. This is fine by me, as although they give nothing back, I love the idea that we can help them and their families by showing them how they can make shopping cheaper and improve their standard of living.

Some people who post on the elite thread are 100% takers. This cannot be avoided, there will always be takers in all walks of life..

Some of the elite are 100% givers, those people who take a real pleasure in helping people and it brings a huge smile to their faces when online friends save money and help their families.

Then, there are the vast majority of the elite who just post because they want to. Some bring their own bargains and glitches and some copy them across from elsewhere. Some are funny, some post pictures of cakes, some post recipes, some chat about baked spuds, lots offer emotional support to those who need it and some just post complete nonsense just like my old mate dotty..:p Every one of these posters is as valuable as the next because they all bring something different to the party. FGS, I'm sure some of us are even starting to worry about what has happened to old Locarr..:rotfl::rotfl:

I work full time as does my wife. We have two kids who do many different activities so time is short for us too. I cannot spend my life on here on the off chance that someone might ask a question about one of my glitches. I make the assumption that most of us have been around for a while and if I take the time to propose or confirm a glitch, most of you are savvy enough to dot the 'I's, cross the 'T's and decide whether you want to go for it or not.

Anyway, we are all different and are all here for our own different reasons. Stop all the bloody whingeing and start loving and respecting every member of the elite, most of us are very nice people, really..:D:D

Well said young man .but you forgot to mention me .. I am the totally useless one

Fingers crossed for you x seems like you have managed to sort it, i have never heard of spongy walls:o

That's me calling them spongy, I found the caravans are insulated with a type of polystyrene and when it gets damp it goes soft, so there are places I can feel that are not firm. Does that make sense. :o

The roof rail we reseated is no where near the washroom so this must be a completely separate problem. :( Not sure if it was possible a leak from the inside out when the previous owners used the shower room as a shower. As the sink is cracked around the plug hole and Mr TS made it worst last year so we never used it. We will get round to sorting it but not a priority when you have the kitchen sink.

And when I cleaned the shower tray last year which is actually the floor of the wash room I didn't realise the grubby stuff I was cleaning off was some sealant round the crack round the plug hole. I inspected it closer today and there is also a crack by the toilet, it is because they make the GRP so thin so the caravans are not heavy to tow. Mr TS will be able to repair both with his knowledge but I am low down on his list of jobs to do. :o

Why is it so much cheaper to fly from Glasgow to Cyprus than from Manchester/Newcastle £200 pp  same flight departure times well within 10 minutes or so
Used to do this all the time. Live in Surrey but go to Scotland to visit family every year. Used to combine it with a cheap flight to an apartment in Portugal. Very economical it was. we'd fly back to Scotland afterwards and drive back to England.

It was an airline that flew very economically from Scotland -FlyGlobespan, and it had it collapsed when it got in dispute with the company who handled their customers credit-card transactions.

I don't understand why the collapse was necessary, and as John Lennon would say, "and I'm not the only one". ;)
