Your IP address as indicated by your provider normally narrows it down - I tried the politics test yesterday and without giving any details in the comparison in the results it included my parliamentary constituency :eek:. I may need to cloak in future!

In some cases and this is only my opinion some people come on here and ask question after question as if people were sitting at the other end and being paid to answer. The search function is there for everyone to use. If I see a post by someone who is in a genuine rush/has been out of the loop for ages etc i always try and answer but I won't answer questions from people who can't be bothered to look for info sometimes just a few posts back and truly believe that they deserve an answer.

That said, people have jobs, real life etc and are not around to answer questions all the time. I do see post after post of many many people on here answering and helping others when they can
