Good evening feeling the need of a little brandy as have been so stressed out :(Wickes have been promising a delivery for 2 days of my replacement door for the one which was damaged.I cancelled going out for those 2 days and no sign of my door even after numerous phone calls.Tonight I rang again and finally got a result as a nice young lady arranged for one of there staff to deliver it on his way home in his own car:T:T so now can proceed and make arrangement for them to be fiitted:)
Sorry for the rant but feel better now;)off to have that brand:beer:y

    Evening paw sniffers:D

Had a lovely afternoon down the field. I started off in my strappy top and ended up in my thick gardening coat as the temperatures plummeted.
I found some interesting specimens of vegetables that I had let go to seed. There' red cabbage was spectacular. It looked tropical and exotic and wouldn't have looked out of place in a posh vase:)

I planted swathes of herbs so I can pick big bunches and filled raised beds with parsnip, beetroot, turnips beans and swedes.

Two fat pigeons sat on the fence and watched my every move. I swear when I turned my back she took out her diary and he pulled his pencil from behind his ear, licked the point and saved the date for the first seedlings emerging. :o

Anyone watching Masterchef tonight? Do we have a favourite?

    :rotfl: I love pigeon watching.

I'm about to cook an epic meal for it - oven roasted veg, new potatoes, steak and a tiny portion of creamed leeks with lardons. I think Simon's going to win. I like Tony even though he looks like Luigi and I don't know why but I don't like Emma, she gets on my tits and not in a good way!
