Well done with the asparagus :T
Try a local tree surgeon for free chippings. That's how I got mine :money:
They are all too tight around here and charge a lot. I keep sacks and shovel in the car in case I see some on the side of the road.:)0 -

Evening paw sniffers:D
Had a lovely afternoon down the field. I started off in my strappy top and ended up in my thick gardening coat as the temperatures plummeted.
I found some interesting specimens of vegetables that I had let go to seed. There' red cabbage was spectacular. It looked tropical and exotic and wouldn't have looked out of place in a posh vase:)
I planted swathes of herbs so I can pick big bunches and filled raised beds with parsnip, beetroot, turnips beans and swedes.
Two fat pigeons sat on the fence and watched my every move. I swear when I turned my back she took out her diary and he pulled his pencil from behind his ear, licked the point and saved the date for the first seedlings emerging.
Anyone watching Masterchef tonight? Do we have a favourite? To do is to be. Rousseau

My dh does all the ironing as he makes a better job of it than I do, as he was in the SA navy so had to learn to do it properly. He always alters the way I hang the clothes out so I make sure the washing machine finishes when he's home and I'm out!
I'm going to use some JL vouchers that run out this weekend, shall treat my dd and dgc.
Lottie if it stays dry as well.:)
