Just wanted to mention the comments you made to tweets FC, coming at it from a different angle maybe:)

The written word is so flat and open to misinterpretation. There's no body language, no voice intonation, no cheeky wink........we abbreviate and take short cuts......we are sometimes in a hurry and rush posts.

Unless someone is openly racist or discriminatory, I try not to get too worked up about it. You have mentioned Nicola Sturgeon FC a few times and her face like a fish. Her face looks fine to me:).....it was the one she was born with:)
However, I don't think for a minute that either you or tweets have any malice in your comments. You are both great people:T

Here's an example of what I'm trying to say......

We were out having a drink a while back. I was at the bar alone and two men were stood a couple of metres away from me. The young bartender ....a redhead......was a little slow.....one of the men said that it was "kick a ginge week" and he was up for giving the young lad a kick if he didn't hurry himself along. They looked a right nasty pair. I swear if they weren't with other family members, some of them elderly, I would have given them a mouthful. I thought of my pretty little niece with red curly hair and wondered if they would kick her too. I was so angry. They had spoilt my night. Their intent was malicious.

Here on the thread, we joke often about the heathens North of the Border...many of them ginges.........it is a bit of banter, a lot of it affectionate, no malice intended at all and I think we all take it in good spirits. In fact it all keeps the thread moving along nicely.

    ps I'm a redhead:)

I've forgotten where I was going with this.....:rotfl:

Basically......some of us have "known" each other for years......longer than real life friendships in some cases and I think we should give each other the benefit of doubt:)

    Oh yes......

    Evening paw sniffers:D
