Just wanted to mention the comments you made to tweets FC, coming at it from a different angle maybe:)

The written word is so flat and open to misinterpretation. There's no body language, no voice intonation, no cheeky wink........we abbreviate and take short cuts......we are sometimes in a hurry and rush posts.

Unless someone is openly racist or discriminatory, I try not to get too worked up about it. You have mentioned Nicola Sturgeon FC a few times and her face like a fish. Her face looks fine to me:).....it was the one she was born with:)
However, I don't think for a minute that either you or tweets have any malice in your comments. You are both great people:T

Here's an example of what I'm trying to say......

We were out having a drink a while back. I was at the bar alone and two men were stood a couple of metres away from me. The young bartender ....a redhead......was a little slow.....one of the men said that it was "kick a ginge week" and he was up for giving the young lad a kick if he didn't hurry himself along. They looked a right nasty pair. I swear if they weren't with other family members, some of them elderly, I would have given them a mouthful. I thought of my pretty little niece with red curly hair and wondered if they would kick her too. I was so angry. They had spoilt my night. Their intent was malicious.

Here on the thread, we joke often about the heathens North of the Border...many of them ginges.........it is a bit of banter, a lot of it affectionate, no malice intended at all and I think we all take it in good spirits. In fact it all keeps the thread moving along nicely.

    ps I'm a redhead:)

I've forgotten where I was going with this.....:rotfl:

Basically......some of us have "known" each other for years......longer than real life friendships in some cases and I think we should give each other the benefit of doubt:)

I wouldn't worry too much as they do like to roost squashed up together, especially in winter. I can't remember if it's my current coop or last one? But I have added an extra roost to one of them in the past.

I have always had chooks who insist on sleeping in the boxes! Never been able to stop them and don't try anymore. In fact they seem to be the prime sleeping spots.

I adapted my current coop by cutting a hole in and adding a second nesting box from another coop. Much good that did as every single one lays in the same box :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and some of them don't like to rush, resulting in a very noisy queue in the mornings :rotfl:

That makes me feel a bit better, thanks :)

So far, my two layers are using two nest boxes for laying :) I swear they go in together like ladies in clubs :rotfl: I don't know what's gonna happen when the others start laying. [STRIKE]We[/STRIKE] MG did make another, standalone nest box for them but it's too small *sigh*

Other than squatting and redness, have you noticed signs from any of yours that they're coming into lay? Or sleep wherever during the day?

Hi guys, not been on in a wee while, could someone please post a link to the grand national second group's charity so I can donate? Thanks x

Hope everyone's well and hugs to those who need them.
Been busy getting ready for the summer holidays, well getting craft ideas together and ringing round venues to get group prices while wondering why some make you do this instead of just putting the figures on their websites  makes more work for people like me!

In fact, these are already comparing vs Morrisons:

1 x ASDA Extra Special Sweet Aromatico Cherry Tomatoes...£1.20£0.99
So, I'd be inclined to get them now, today, in case they disappear off.

220g. Surely other tomatoes could be cheaper:rotfl:. But, if you like these in particular (...and don't shop in Northern Ireland:().

M mbuy currently picked up between the Bourbon Creams and the Nice Biscuits:

1 x ASDA Chosen by You Bourbon Creams (300g)£0.40£0.35
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Nice Biscuits (200g)£0.50£0.35

Just to get you to load yet more tempting items to your shop and spend way beyond what you intended:rotfl:!

I keep mentioning that the T Eday Value Nice biscuits work out cheaper as the packets are twice the size of those ones. If that doesn't stop you buying Avs M:cool:...

These are my favourite tomatoes  I really can't be bothered shopping today though :p

It was more the fact that this woman, after the personal info tweets has posted about herself, would be very easily identified.

We have a full history of when she's handed sick notes into work, some info on her illness, what's been said in phone calls that have been made etc.

I'd be mortified if I was off work sick and a colleague felt it ok to go on the Internet and post such personal details where anyone could see them. I'm sure most people would.

Yes, anyone can come on here and vent but as I said, how difficult would it be to identify this lady?? Not very at all. I stand by what I said. It's wrong that her unfortunate personal circumstances have been posted on here the way they have for more than six months. I for one have cringed once too often at knowing such details about a complete stranger who'd probably rather I and the other thousands who read this forum didn't know.
