I have results in 4 minutes from this morning. I wont be shocked if it didn't work. 9.xx shops are like a mine field. my only issue will be the high apg as I bought 12 boxes for £24

    Sorry 12.48
  • I done this when I bought some land (a small bit behind my house - off road parking)

I rang up and the put the max credit in my bank as cash. It was a 2yr interest free card and I had a standing order for the min every month and then paid off any extra I could afford. I cleared it before the interest free ran out.

    I have a question pretty please :)

It's about 0% credit cards - how do they actually work?
So say you get a card and mark your purchase then next month the bill comes along and you have to pay the minimum balance - is this 5%?
Then every month you are paying 5% - no interest. On month 12 or 18 you then pay whatever is left off?

Yes I know its a bit if a stupid question but I've never used one :)

Eldest child has got a Marks % card now which she has bought their flights with. I suppose its one way of making a big purchase
    - if you can be disciplined to save the money until the final month to pay it all off.

That's just about it, only in the final month interest will start being charged from the date of the previous statement, a few days before you receive the statement. When I've used these offers before I've paid it all off in month 11 just in case.

    It's only a game

You are a total nutter popps..:rotfl:

I am lucky that in my store that I can spend reasonably large apgs, however for the sake of buying an extra inch of carrot and parsnip, a couple of chillis and a bit of broccoli (total 6p), I would definitely have split your shop in two and have two apgs under a tenner rather than a single one for over £19.

Yeah, I know but I save my extra special APG's for some spotty kid that don't care and just whacks them in the till with no questions asked.

    Morning all.

    My coupons arrived yesterday Emmap.

Have a great day all. I'm off for my works Christmas lunch today. (Don't get me started!) :rotfl:

There must be a few works who've had very late Xmas lunches/dinners, we had ours last Saturday! We had to try and accommodate everyone but in the end after changing the date umpteen times settled for last week regardless of who could/couldn't make it. :p
Didn't get home until the wee small hours and still trying to catch up on missed sleep.

I think that's the case in every store. Even on SS the voucher has to be allowed by a staff member at the end of the transaction.

Ta for this, I will pass the snippet along and also put the date on the family calendar.

I knew she needed a new card but I didn't realise what she wanted it for or that she wanted a zero % one - otherwise I would have been some investigation.
But she says she has got the best one with a long date - 18 month I think and they sent a £30 voucher to use by the end of May.

All my big purchases have been cash or debit card to avoid being surcharged so I've not needed one so far
