Swann CCTV systemI

Options
I had this CCTV fitted 2 days ago, it works fine and has a great picture, but after I have switched the TV off for the night I can't get the camera pictures on the TV again the next day, I have searched on line for help instructions, but I couldn't find any.
please could someone tell me how to reset it so that I don't loose it again when I switch the tv off at night.
Thanking you Drinda.

So you turn the TV off and when you turn the TV back on, there is no picture at all? Have you tried all the 'source' options?
What type of connection are you using between the CCTV system and your TV? SCART? HDMI? Composite?
Have you got it to come back on somehow? By turning it off and on again I pressume?

It is connected with the HDMI cable that came with the CCTV, yes we had it on all day the first time it was connected, but when I switch TV off at night I can't get the picture on again, both the TV and the CCTV are working fine, the CCTV is recording but I just can't play it on the TV. I have scrolled through all the channels on the tv, but can't find the one that it should play on, the first time it was set up it came on automatically and very quick, it searches for a channel it's self I can't even get the CCTV menus to show on the TV.

umm , it not "channels" , its either hdmi 1 or hdmi 2 etc , I have similar setups , and the unit wont register unless the monitor is on , CCTV then monitor = no , monitor then CCTV = yes .

however the second part of your statement does not make sense " I have scrolled through all the channels on the tv," , is not a tv channel if its hdmi , its hdmi input

The answer will be he chose the correct HDMI input as everyone said. And perhaps plugged it in properly!
