Pip assesment

We had our pip assesment for our daughter yesterday
It was a nerve wrecking experience for our daughter and us
The assessor was a really lovely lady and listened to all the day to day difficulties our daughter has
At the end of our 2 hour assesment for atos she told us that next time for the re assesment or next assesment she will recommend a home visit assesment for our daughter to save her all the stress and hurt it caused her ?
Is that a sort of nod that she will be awarded pip ?

I wouldn't have thought so. Just because they acted 'nicely' I doubt that this will have a bearing on the outcome as ultimately they have to score on descriptors. It sounds like you at least had a sympathetic ear but I wouldn't rely on this as an outcome that you hope for until you actually get it confirmed.

My husband's PIP assessment went well but I agree it was a nerve wracking experience. I was unsure what the outcome would be, but once he had the award in place, which I was very happy about I requested a copy of the decision and it seemed to be all about the assessor's observations on the day. She also wrote I looked care worn! I was a bag of nerves I can tell you. Why they need to put us through this process when they have all the medical information I don't know, it's awful. Good luck Lill111 I hope your daughter gets her award.0
