Recording from digital radio to Mp3

I have a Pure Digital Radio and I want to record a programme which is on there this week onto my MP3 player which is a Creative Zen Micro MP3 player. so that I can take it abroad with me for a relative to listen to the programme on which a friend of hers is appearing.

I have tried to record directly from the Radio to the Mp3 and also tried it through the computer but to be honest I really havent got a clue where to start and wondered if anyone could help me?

When you say you have "tried to record", what exactly did you do?

I connected the headphone socket of the radio to the mp3 player, but cant find a way to record on the mp3 and also linked the usb port of the radio up to my computer and tried to look for a way to record that onto my computer on windows media player so that I could then download it to the mp3 player, but couldnt suss out a way of doing it!

Does the digital radio have an audio out?

If it does, you need a set of leads (Male RCA to 3.5mm stereo phono) plug the RCA's into the Digi radio and plug the phono into the line-in plug on your p.c soundcard.

Use the recorder that came with your soundcard (if it has one) open up the volume control on the p.c (little speaker on task bar) and select the recording properties, choose line-in for recording.

Press record on the recorder software, then you can transfer it to an mp3 player or CD.
