You're going to university and you haven't even done any research yourself?

Even a tiny bit of googling would have told you about student loans and how to get one.
  • I have done lots of googling and made 8 phone calls around student loans, but cannot find anything that will help me. I want the loan where you don't start paying back until you earn over 21,000 but cannot find anything. Which is why ive asked for help.

There is not a choice of lenders for student loans.

This link should give you a starting point https://www.gov.uk/student-finance/overview

  • Ive been on this, they can only offer me a maintenance loan of £2000. Nothing else is written on it about loans or anything. have even just rang them and they cant help.
  • I just need to know how I get a loan to help with living expenses, that I don't pay back until earning over £21,000 with a respectable company

You have already been shown the only route to such a loan in the link above.

If you don't like what they offer get a job or a bank loan.

There isn't alternative providers for student loans that the repayments are dependent on earnings.

If £2000 is all you qualify for then that is all you qualify for.

Most students use a combination of
    -assistance from parents
    -a student overdraft
    -part-time work

to add to their maintenance loan to help fund themselves through university.

  • That link is not for a student loan, its for the maintenance loan or maintenance grant. I have already applied for the loan like ive said and can only get £2000 a year. Not entitled to the grant because its a NHS course. So needed help on where else do I get a student loan from
  • Of course theres alterative providers fro student loans. Have written on here to ask for help and which is the best provider.

The link is for student loans. Student loans are made up of tuition loans and maintenance loans.

There are no other places to get a student loan from.

There are other places that provide personal loans (not student loans), but not that have a 3year plus repayment holiday.
