Ok, now that i've finally figured out how to create a new thread!
Before i wrote this thread, i've gone through the newbies sticky thread like a million times. Then I found ones relevant to my situation which just made me more confused.
Basically, before i checked on here for advice i ignored both NTK, and then started receiving DDR letters, which i was told to ignore. I wrote to JAS with the template letter on sticky threads, who rejected my claim because it was outside 28 days. One more letter from DDR, final letter before legal action.
Now letter from LJB LS who I know are fake from reading another thread.
But this is where I'm stuck, do I send another letter asking for POPLA code still?
I only say this because i know a lot of you say ignore these unless its a real MCOL or LBC but (real lawyers) i asked for advice said that you could potentially be the unlucky one that they take to court, so to just pay for it to stop.
I'm only a student so any advice is appreciated!

as you mainly ignored it all up to now, its too late for getting a popla code
JAS wont give you a popla code even if you won the lottery tomorrow now
they have 6 years to chase you for the alleged debt , they no longer have to agree to your appeals, they no longer have to issue a popla code either , but debt recovery can do nothing to you other than refer back to creditor
therefore you only deal with an LBC or an MCOL from now on
the correct procedure was to send JAS a template appeal after day 21 , as the NEWBIES sticky thread says
all too late now , so ignore them, unless the LBC or MCOL arrive0 -
Quick response, thank you!
Ok, i appreciate the advice.0 -

Just as a heads up to everyone, the letter claiming to be from LJB Legal services but with no return address is bogus - and I have just had a nice email from the Solicitors Regulation Authority saying that they are investigation the letter sent to me as a case of FRAUD!
I suggest that you look at the website of the SRA to find the reporting document, fill it in and report this blatant case of "holding out" (ie pretending to be a solicitor) to them. Hopefully some real solicitors will jump on Mr Dara with the full weight of the law.
The law works for everyone even you, so don't get mad, get even. (legally of course)
Don't go asking me for links etc - Google Is Your Friend

You can ask me for links though
To report solicitors, use this:

As this is not a real solicitor though, use this:
