Completely new to forums so apologies of posted wrongly.
In process of purchasing a 3bed semi built 1970's in coal mining area
Coal search has reported a mine entrance within 20m last worked in 1967 on the map it appears to be in the next door neighbours garden.
Solicior has sent to mortage company for them to review their valuation; would people continue with purchase??? Our concerns are obviously for safty but also for resale value/appeal being affected, home insurance.
Any advice or willingness to share previous experience of this reall appreciated.

You're having second thoughts, so other people will also do. Personally I wouldn't buy unless it was a very good price, resale could be an issue.0

How common is this in the area you're in? If it affects almost everyone, then it's not a problem. If it only affects one property in a hundred, then look for something else.0
