Youtube Double Audio Problem

For some reason when I run youtube clips now (this started yesterday) I get a weird audio glitch and the audio plays twice with a slight delay. What's causing this? I have flash and another plug in installed and i deactivated the original (not flash) one,but it's made no difference.

    Try installing Klite codec pack which will delete any other conflicting codecs.

    Absolutely don't do this. Codec packs will not help you with streaming video on Youtube, and are generally a bad idea in any case

    Why on earth would you recommend such an idiotic idea? It is a completely harmless install and resolves many conflicts and is used by millions. Please get your facts right before jumping in with foolish suggestions. And BTW you haven't even posed a solution yourself.
