    Thanks for replying all.

I've decided to stick with it and not pay up. Is the general consensus that ignoring this rejection by WH will lead to a letter by MIL threatening and/or confirming court action? From there, I should contact Parking Prankster directly?

I've never been through any kind of court proceedings before so if it does get to that stage, it's all new to me. Have had a look through stickies etc for the general proceedings, but can somebody explain to me how a date/venue for a court hearing is decided? Asking specifically as I'm due to be in Newcastle until Sep, and then out of the country until March, and then in Oxford form then onwards; and so do I have the ability to adjust the date/venue to fit around this? If somebody could outline expected timeframes that would be very helpful.

Assuming it does go to court and the rarity of JAS/MIL turning up occurs, am I right in thinking that the threads on both here and pepipoo will stand me in good stead to file my case of defence? As previously explained, I have absolutely no legal training, haven't been to court before, and am only learning about this field as the case progresses and so am worried I could fall foul of stupid mistakes along the way.

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry to bump this, just hoping to get some advice on this matter as have no experience or knowledge of the process.

I'm also surprised to see that JAS Parking Solutions website no longer exists and there is no obvious way to contact them. I'm aware that they have been suspended from BPA and AOS membership (in March?), but have they simply ceased to exist sometime since then!? Does this still mean that my 'debt' is likely to be sold to MIL collections?

To reiterate, I have no intention of paying them and will fight this, but struggle to see how any parker would be able to pay their sum if they decided to at this stage?

    Thanks.

The company still exists. The website isn't missing as such, it's broken (redirect loop). I have no idea whether this will get fake-sold to MIL, but given that JAS was suspended for issuing loads of dud tickets even knuckle-scraping ****holes such as MIL might be wary of wasting time and money on JAS cases.

Certainly there are those who are itching to get stuck into them if they try.

Disappeared from BPA List in March - under investigation. April 2016 confirmed as gone from the BPA with little chance of reappearance.

Yes, it certainly looks like Dara's unhappy and incompetent career in parking "enforcement" is going down the toilet.
