Emergency Gas Call-Out Cost?

Hi,
I've had to call the Emergency Gas line as I smelt gas by our meter. Does anyone know what the call-out charge will be (if any)? I know it has to be done just will need to do some juggling if it is an expensive charge.
Thanks

I don't have a contract with the National Gas Emergency line. My gas is provided by British Gas but as we have only just moved into the house we are in the middle of changing contracts.Total Debt: £0 [STRIKE]£33,043[/STRIKE]

You shouldn't be charged. They'll come out and make the supply safe. This means fixing it if they can, or if not they'll temporarily disconnect the supply.
I'm a bit out of date with what they will do, but I think it's along the lines of if it's before the meter, they'll fix it. If it's the meter, they'll repair it if they can do easily, if not they'll tell you to contact your supplier for replacement. If it's after the meter, if it's a quick/easy repair they might do it, otherwise you'll need to contact and pay a GasSafe engineer to make the repairs.0
