Balance transfer to debit card

Hi everyone, new to this so hopefully I'm doing it right... I've just tried to do a balance transfer to a barclaycard platinum from a visa debit card (overdraft) and they said I couldn't do it. Can anyone recommend if it is possible to get a 0% balance transfer to a debit card? Thanks.

No, you need a Money transfer offer (not a balance transfer).
Barclaycard have offered me one only today, (as well as a balance transfer alternative offer) but as usual, they are by invitation only.0 -
