What to do with my savings - Isle of Man

Hi, I live in the Isle of Man I have £20k sat in my standard Lloyds Offshore savings account. I am considering buying a property (the £20 being part deposit), and have mortgage approved, but not in a hurry as I've just signed a 6 month lease and not seen a property I want yet.
I feel like the savings are wasted sitting in my account, and wondered if anyone had any advice as to what would be best for me to do with them??

So you've signed a six month lease ? Which basically means you're looking to buy within 12 months ?
In which case, just leave the money in the bank.0
