Good German SIMcard ....

Does anyone know the german SIMcard that could be bought online, eBay, Amazon.de etc ?
I am particually interested in
- The one which has data and call plan as I am using it primarily to browse Google Map while on the street.
- The one which doe not expire within one month, e,g could be used for at least a year ??

Any info will be very much appreciated

Lebara was the best deal a year ago, for purchase in local shops and activation call necessary. I don't know about buying online for UK delivery.

Does it come with Mobile Internet. I was using Lyca previously but I did not seem to have access to Mobile internet.
What about registration. Do we still need to register ??

I found it quite strange that an Industrialized Countries like Germany it is not simple to get PAYG simcards. In Schonnenfield Airport for instance I had looked around and it seems there is not any shop selling PAYG simcard.

Mobile internet yes, good data bundle price, connection and service. Airport would be too high rent for the sort of shops who sell them, but you might see a Lebara portable stand these days like the ones at Schiphol. Small neighbourhood and train station phone shops have PAYG Sims. You have to register with a name and address (eg hotel) by calling CS from the sim, but no proof is required. Last time I bought one a year ago the shopkeeper did everything for me, including the registration, perhaps to his name.

...Actually, that was a year ago, which is a long time in the mobile market, so there may be a better deal with Lyca or Ortel etc these days. Forget about the main networks for PAYG. Best to ask the shopkeeper what is currently the best deal for data, they're the experts.
