Hi,
just wondering if anyone could offer some advice. I've got 2 CCJ's with about 4 years left on each, I might be in the position very soon to pay them off in full, I was just wondering roughly how much this will improve my credit score? will it have any effect at all? :)as I understand the CCJ will still be on my file until it expires, so is it worth paying it off now (or keeping up my agreed repayments)
TIA

Depends on the individual potential lender and product.
Some will view a satisfied CCJ as preferable to an unsatisfied one, for others it will make little difference.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
As the 'score' is a randomly generated number, so it may or may not change it. Either way it's irrelevant.
However, settled CCJ's will look better to potential lenders than unsettled ones.0 -
thank you both!0
