Family budget professional needed

We are both working parents with very little free time at our disposal. The little time we get we rather spend playing with our boy who doesn't see us much during the week.
When would you be making time to speak with your 'family budget professional'? How would you make sure that person knows everything you want them to know, how would you listen to any suggestions that person has to make, how would you answer questions that person has, how would you ascertain they are not taking you for a ride, how would you handle issues that person flags up with you, how could you sleep at night without knowing whether you have enough money left to feed and house your family next week?
This must be a wind-up thread.0 -
This is an old thread that the OP lost interest to long time ago.0

Out of interest, how much would people be prepared to pay for a "family budget professional"?
Assume home visits, 45 minutes a time. Short written report emailed within 24 hours of the visit.0 -

Personally, I'd pay nothing, as we would never employ one.
It aint rocket science to budget - it just takes a bit of time. And that time would not be saved by using a professional as there would have to be regular briefings and discussion with the professional. And the invasion of privacy would be significant!
I'm tending to agree with other posts above - that this thread is a wind-up and not worthy of much consideration.
But now I too have been duped into commenting...0 -
