so its a choice between:
Someone who walked around with David Cameron but was ineffective
Someone from Scotland who lost and came down here
Someone who likes Britain
mmmm wonder which most people would rather?0 -
Farage all the way I think - out of those three.0

He forgot the Green woman, probably because he can't remember her name.0

probably because she has NO chance.0

Same for me

Pretty slim, I'd say.
There is a reasonable chance that Farage might win in South Thanet. There is a good chance that Salmond might win in Gordon. There is almost no chance at all of Bennet winning in Holborn and St Pancras. Although she might pick up a few ex LD votes this time around.0 -
I think in the grand scheme of things he's done ok in opposition. For sure he capitulated on tuition fees, but he has helped humanise the coalition. I don't mind him. Not that my opinion counts. There's only one way the vote round here is going and that's Tory. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Without Clegg there would not have been a coalition, and therefore no stable Government.
For that alone he should be praised.
With the state of the Economy in 2010, a few years of unstable Government, 3 or 4 snap elections and probably still no outright winner would have put us in a hole that would have taken decades to dig ourselves out from.
If scrapping tuition fees was going to be a deal breaker, then we would have had no coalition of any hue.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

Does anyone think UKIP will have enough seats to make a difference? I certainly don't. The Unionists will almost certainly have more say than UKIP.'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).

Freudian slip, surely?
Last time I looked, Clegg was in government for the last 5 years.0
