Sometimes there can compatibility issues between certain SD cards and cameras, if you supply the make and exact model of camera people will be better able to advise.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0

These are the listed tested cards with your camera and I don't see any reason why the card you have picked should be incompatible with your camera

Something to consider is you may be better with a few smaller cards than one big one. How many shots do you get on the card you have, My little camera gets 1000 images on a 8GB card, if I was to buy a 64GB cards then I'd get about 8000 images on it.
Now imagine if the card dies or is lost/stolen, that's a lot of images to lose. I now tend to use smaller (up to 8GB) cards even in my SLR, and swap them out during the holiday so if they die, or the camera is lost/stolen or goes nuts and reformats the card then I've not lost all my photos.0
