Littlewoods...What The *&^%$£"!

Long story short.

Ordered a pair of Nike Trainers, courier came when no one was home, left a card saying left behind bar gate (not garage as instructed)

Come home that evening, surprise, surprise no parcel.

Contacted Littlewoods saying as such, explain i was under impression it needed a signature to be left anyway. Informed me they have a signature?

How do they have a signature when the 'sorry your our card' states left behind? Makes no sense!

I then have to jump through hoops and told it would be taken of my account given this info, i check today its back on the balance as delivered!!!

I have to send a copy of the card and driving licence to show my signature, i have no faith in this process.

Made worse as needed to order some items for a holiday, but my balance will now not allow it. I know a Littlewoods representative is on the site and i would appreciate some 'help and support' in this matter.

That's one clever gate you have there.

I remember years ago Littlewood's tried to say they had delivered when they hadn't. Phoned them up and they looked at their notes and said that it had been left in our garage on such and such a day.

I said that they would have had to build said garage first before putting it in there as we don't have one. :-)

Sorted in the end and sent a new one, but who knows what happened to the original parcel.
  • Very poor. They dumped them - got nicked but delivery driver signed because he couldnt be bothered.

Had similar with concert tickets once. They weren't sent recorded and I didn't get them.

Ticketmaster for some stupid reason, claimed they could prove delivery because they take a picture of the delivery address when they deliver. So they sent it to me.

I advised them this was no good and did not prove the tickets were posted through the letterbox. They got a bit arsey saying I accused the delivery driver of stealing them etc but I just said no I dont know what happened but they're not here.

In the end, they backed down because the law states unless they can prove delivery its tough.
