    Judging by the thanks pattern, the cheaper (zero cost) option wasn't appreciated.

    The mistake is thinking that if you use XP or IE or any old browser, you aren't safe, and if you use something else, you are.

    If someone down the pub told everyone to replace their rarely used 9 year old second cars in case they had an accident, few people would head off straight to the showroom without questioning the logic.

    First question to ask is vulnerable to what.

    Sorry! I think I missed reading that post altogether somehow! :o

    I appreciate that each person has replied!

    The problem with waiting is that at the moment there are people visiting who are more capable of buying and setting up a computer and if we wait then the computer might die before they are back! :)
    I never knew there were so many things I can get along without :smiley:
