best time to sell items of clothing on ebay??

Been sorting through my wardrobe, and noticed a loada clothes I don't or haven't worn. When is the best time to put them on ebay? The clothes will mainly appeal to the younger generation.

I always start my 10 day auctions on a Thursday about 8pm. That way it will finish on a Sunday night and also run over 2 weekends when I presume most people browse Ebay. If you have a lot of items it might be worth setting up your auctions using Ebay's Turbolister and then bulk listing them next time they have a promotional day.

totally agree with the thursday evening 10 day auction. although info released by ebay suggests they're busiest on sunday mornings, but i think thats middle-aged/older people
young people in my experience are busiest on sunday evenings

DO NOT put them up on promotional days. these are the times when the market is bombarded with goods and it really becomes a buyers market

be wary of seasonal changes. not a lot of people are buying or selling winter clothes now so you may not get a lot of interest for out-of-season clothes, but if you sell summer clothes now you'll be going up against every other seller selling loads of stock

The clothes I'm thinking of selling are all weather clothes to be honest. Just wasn't sure whether to avoid selling during the summer hols.

Sell Summer clothes in the Summer and Winter clothes in the Winter, otherwise you find that you get very little bidding on them. I found this with mine right at the beginning and now sell in Season.

The best time to have listings finishing is Sunday aftrnoon-evening, Bank Holiday weekends are even better!
