Facebook Problems?

I didn't appeal and got an extra 2 days - they sent me 2 notifications today to extend it.

I am temporarily restricted from liking a Page or following/subscribing to a Profile until 16 May at 13:40. :mad:

I have appealed and have asked them what I have done wrong it seems incorrect that they can block someone without giving a proper explanation

My OH has just got the restricted notification, but I'm still OK at the moment.

Was asked for I.D which I sent, they then sanctioned me until the 14th and this afternoon it has been extended to the 16th

It's just so odd, I would have thought I was a good commercial user, supporting and promoting their business users.

They've now reset my restriction today so it's until 16th May instead of 14th May. They've basically extended it 2 days. But I've not been doing anything besides using it as normal to contact family!
I'm so annoyed. I haven't heard anything back from my appeals.
I don't get it. They're just a social network, not some sort of high profile spy network.

FB will probably receive more appeals today than local authorities from parents who didn't get the school places they wanted! At least the local authorities will read their appeals though!

Same thing has happened to me. What annoys me is that I very rarely enter facebook comps because I hate the fact that they make me 'like' their pages. I always hide it from my feed though I don't know if that hides it from my contacts feeds.

Yet, still banned. I just had a count and in total I 'liked' 30 pages since I started comping at the start of March so I suppose that could be seen as excessive when combined with my friends posts etc that I actually have liked and 'liked'.

I've too sent an appeal.

I have 3,656 liked pages since 2011, and I have not been banned? so It seems to be a very random thing this time.

Mine is still showing pending and the date hasn't been extended. I'm seriously thinking there's been a glitch somewhere, or it was a comp we all entered! I don't like excessively and interact alot with friends on Facebook, so I'm not "fake" if that makes sense?

I'm very new to comping and I've only liked a few extra pages recently and today I got blocked from liking pages until mid May.


I have had my account since 2007 and use it in a legitimate way, you know, to stay in touch with friends and laugh at how fat the popular girls at my school have got.


Thanks for posting about this, if I hadn't known why in advance it would have got me worried.


Like others have said, I see it as a comping badge of honour.


Now all I need to do is win something...
