in Credit cards
I have recently got hold of my credit report and it is now just showing my Mobile Phone and current account. I went bankrupt some time ago (illness and and to leave work due to it). Anyway it appears that all this has now gone off.
Im going to apply for one of the recommended credit build cards through this site. Is there a set amount i should spend on it each month to help rebuild, or would £20/£30 pounds be enough to start it going up again.
Im also concidering changing my bank account from the Basic account i have to a normal account. But again im not sure if there will be much of an advantage to doing that.
Thanks in advance

Just using a card for a small amount each month will help you build up a positive credit history and demonstrate that you are repaying your commitments.
From a credit file perspective it won't make much difference whether you have a regular account or basic account (assuming you don't intend to do overdrawn).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
