voulantary termination does this affect my credit history

Hi would really appreciate some advice on this. Would voulantary termination of my hire purchase agreement have a negative effect on my credit history? I need to pay £475 to qualify for it as that brings me to the half way point. I've never missed payments etc and this is purely being done due to a change of circumstances as we are saving for a mortgage and this would save me £191 per month.

Mine shows settled with a voluntary termination marker. It has green dots the same as when it was up to date and on time,0
