I had a mortgage with Farming and Agricultural Finance ltd (FAF ltd) about 10 years ago. It was/is a subsidiary of NatWest. I have called NatWest and spoken to 3 different departments with address of the mortgaged property, an account, sort code and reference number and they can find no trace of me or the mortgage. Does anyone know anything about FAF ltd? Is it a specialist department with NatWest? Google searches don't shed much light....

Farming and Agricultural Finance ltd are still operating and appear to be separate trading company within RBS.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Thanks for that information. I see that you're a financial advisor. Are you able to supply any contact details for FAF as I couldn't seem to find any anywhere?0

Finally got around to speaking to someone and apparently insurance products were not sold with the agricultural products that FAF ltd offered.
Could this be right? I was just told this over the phone, is it worth pursuing it further? If so, how could I find any more information?0 -
