Can anyone speak German?

We have been invited to a wedding in switzerland in September, would really love to go as we haven't seen my Husbands family for 10 years, although not sure how we are going to find the money as all our spare cash is going on building our extension at the moment.................anyway,
Would like to reply in fluent German, thought it would be nice.
so something like ,
We would love to attend your wedding and celebrate with you both
from (us)

or

We are so sorry but be are unable to attend your wedding.
Good luck with all the preparations.

Can Anyone help or reccomend a website that is spot on for translation as the 2 I have tried used completely different words to each other.

if you want to send a coherant message, then avoid online translation services like the plague!

English is very widely understood in Switzerland, so there is no actual need to send your reply in German. Most people would appreciate it if you go to the trouble to respond correctly in their language, but rather than use an internet translation service I would suggest replying in English, but with a nice photo of your family, postcard of where you live, or something.

As for cost: I am amazed at how cheap it is to get to Switzerland. Air France are offering direct flights from London City airport for just 70 pounds return, and that includes all taxes and everything.
