My husband has contacted them and they said his has been randomly selected for extra security checks and he should hear off that team dealing with it by 27th may.... not sure exactly what that means but have evidence of everything so have no worries if they need proof! He filed on 6th0

just spoke to an advisor after following the advice of a forum member I rechecked the submitted return and saw the figures were incorrect amended and resubmitted advisor stated would hear by the 11/05 I asked if due to the incorrect figures if the payment had been stopped advisor then admitted this was correct. I don't understand why they couldn't have told me this 2 weeks ago and the amendment could have been a lot sooner. If people are still at pending its worth asking the advisor outright if the payment has been stopped.0

Just rechecked again and realised I have clicked to be exempt from class 4 NIC when I try to amend and submit I get "system error" message
Anyone know what I can do
EDIT: have submitted now.0 -
By submitting it again it will slow it right down, I was told NOT to re submit until the payment was either issued (in which case I wouldn't amend it) or if they tell you that it's wrong , They would automatically change any national insurance contribution error ( this happened to me 2015) they just Amend it for you and then it recalculates itself and they then take it off next years or instead you can call and pay it (that's what we did). Have you had a massive decrease in repayment now?0

Mick, how wrong we're your original figures? I was told not to re submit or amend return unless they tell you too? Is this correct? Aparently mine has gone for review , I don't even know what thy means and even if you google it , it comes up with only security checks. Let me know if you know please thanks0

they were quite far out with a difference of £3477 there was a typo which would mean rebate of £9144 which is way out they have advised the correct repayment will be issued just over 5k which is inline with other years and the account is for review but like I said on further questioning of the advisor this was clarified as the payment had been stopped.0
