Corus Shares help please....

I have just discovered a share certificate in amongst my late mother in laws possessions which had previously gone unnoticed, for 64 shares at 50p each in Corus group dated 1999, presumably received when they bought out British Steel. I am aware that Corus in turn were bought by Tata, question is are these shares worth anything? and if so what is the procedure please
Cheers

BTW - British Steel plc changed its name to Corus when it merged with Hoogovens. Corus didn't buy British Steel. We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
