can anyone help me,my son and his friends have booked a football package through groupon to see Barcelona next weekend,the game has now been moved to Saturday instead of sunday,their flights times mean that they will not arrive until Saturday teatime,missing the game. Groupon and the travel agent have washed their hands of this saying that its not there fault game moved

ive seen these deals before on groupon and if memory serves it usually says that there is the possibility that the game is subject to change and if that occurs its tough, or words to that effect.

your son will need to check the t&c's of the package he has bought

That sucks but the flights are probably a separately booked element and the airline won't care that the match has been moved. If a ticket to the match was part of the package presumably you can get a refund for that?

Can they not try and change their flights and pay the difference?? We had to do this last year when we had a football match for a Saturday and the game was changed to the Sunday, our flights back home on the Sunday meant we would miss the game. However we were able to change the flights with the airline and pay the difference. Cost us a bit more of course but had to be done as we had arranged other plans during the game etc.
