Hi there,
i was sequestrated in 2006 and was discharged in 2009.
I had many different loans, credit cards etc before this and had PPI on most if not all of them. I'm now wondering whether i can claim PPI back now. Would this money then go to my trustee to pay any outstanding amounts?
Any advice or pointers on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Any monies that come from previous to your bankruptcy will be due to the OR.

Sequestration is a Scottish term so it would be the Accountant in Bankruptcy (Scottish equivalent of the OR). However, the AIB currently has a policy whereby if the total redress is under £2,500 they will waive their interest as it is not considered cost effective to reopen the case.0
