Is it possible to draw hidden lines in Word 2010 as dashed?

Options
Is it possible to draw say 2 overlapping objects and the hidden part of the object at the back is dashed?

Using Word from Office pro 2010

Is there a way to do that, or a workaround for that?

Is it not an easy shape to freedraw, the dashed line?

If not, simplest way i could think of, would be layering transparencies. So copy shape and give it the dashed border, bring to front. Overlay this on original and make transparent, with original sent to back. Place other shape between front and back
  • Thanks - it worked!

This was for my son doing some physics stuff and was drawing 2 offset elipses with the one behind partially to be a dashed line for the bit you could not see.

I don't know if I quite followed your instruction to the T, but I used 3 elipses to do this, and used Word 2013 for a tester.
