blackpool airport car parking can anyone advise please

Hope I have put this in right place. My uncle is travelling from blackpool to Isle of Man and I am struggling to find car parking for him. Not sure if I am looking in wrong place got skytrax but then it says nothing found. I know airport only just opened again for flights to Isle of Man. He is going 15th May for 1 week if anyone can give me some advice I would be really grateful. He is 80 and I just want to make it as easy and smooth as possible for him

Their is on street parking available free of charge near Blackpool airport, we have left our car a few times and it is fine

We went to Spain from Blackpool just before they closed it last year, you get free parking but each adult had to pay £10 for a "development fund" There is some parking in front of the airport which was full when we went (not a very busy time of the year) and so we had to park on a car park with an unfinished surface and walk about 10 mins to the terminal. I would not say "it's fine" for an elderly person who may find it hard to walk on difficult surfaces pulling a bag. It may be worth speaking to the airline to seeif they can reserve him a space or maybe he could get the train and a taxi?
