Worth moving from Basic to Featured shop?

I have my own website that I want to set up an ebay store to sell some of my services & websites,
On ebay when I look at some of the listings I see that some have things like a star rating or "fast and free" icons for delivery next to them, how do I add these to my shop listings? I've investigated the difference between a standard shop and a featured one & these options aren't mentioned? Do they come with an upgraded shop or are they perhaps features that are linked to the amount of feedback you receive and perhaps are part of a teired structure of additional options for ebay shops that have been in existance for a number of years..?
Confused. Can anyone explain please.I am a freelance custom Wordpress website designer.0 -

Those 'badges' are added by ebay once a seller and the listing qualifies, you may not add any look a like badges or misrepresent your listings in any way.
Fast and free requirements are explained here:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/fast-n-free.html
as a general point though if you are new to ebay then there is no point at all in paying for a shop as your listing numbers will be restricted to about 6 listings a month for the first couple of months until you establish yourself. It would be best to set up a business account, no shop and test the waters first, get a few sales, build up a bit of history and then see how it goes.
Lastly, check that your services can be sold on ebay, the restricted item list is getting longer and longer so make sure you don't get banned before you even start.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. What benefit is there from a featured shop other than the the free listings...
This month I upgraded from a basic to a featured shop as I have over 1800+ listings that I was putting up using the free 50,000 every month or so.
Sales dropped through the floor for the first week, possibly my worst week ever. Things have picked up a bit now and I will have to stay with it for a couple of months to see how it goes and then have a rethink.
I even rang CS to see if there was something wrong with my account that I couldn't see on my "dash board" (there wasn't)0 -
I upgraded to a Featured shop in January. I have over 800 items listed, and did it for the higher level of exposure
My sales dropped and the announcement of the increase in fees meant that I gave gone back to a basic shop
I'm coming to the conclusion that eBay is having major problems as it becomes more glitchy by the day and sales are well down at the moment. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

The glitches are driving me crazy especially when the stock answer is 'but no one else has reported this as an issue' yet the community boards are full of it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
