With regards to the sale of my place, the last thing I know is that they had obtained the leasehold pack from the housing association who own the block of flats where I live.0 -

That sounds like a bargain!
I have the paperwork form a 'big chain' London EA who's looking for a £450 referral fee from a solicitor quoting a 'headline' legal fee of £650.
i.e. The solicitor gets just £200
I didn't bother to get a detailed quote on that basis, but I suspect there would have been many 'extras' - and the solicitor's service would have been appalling.0
